In my kitchen, there is So Good's new almond and coconut milk. I try to test new non-dairy milk products in order to update my non-dairy milk review table, and this one was a delightful discovery. I actually enjoy it plain, which is very unusual for me with milk. While it is sweetened, it is also lower in sugar than So Good's regular almond milk.
The downside? It does contain carrageenan. It's getting harder and harder to avoid that ingredient in commercial milk alternatives.
In my kitchen, there is 90% cocoa Lindt chocolate! It seems it has finally hit Australian shores, and I was extremely excited to find it in the supermarket last weekend.
I was pleased to confirm that, as per my first impressions, it still tastes of brownies to me.
In my kitchen, there have been lots of tofu-containing bowls. I am definitely back in a tofu phase (not that I ever left one really). I am also in a quinoa and broccoli phase.

In my kitchen, there has been brown basmati rice cooked with cinnamon and nutmeg. I've been enjoying it cold with blueberries. I imagine it would be delicious with apple too.
In my kitchen, there is my favourite coconut ice cream flavour yet: sticky date and tamarind. To me, it actually tastes a bit like paw-paw. As I really like paw-paw, this is a good thing.
Visible from my kitchen are some new plants. With the weather moving into autumn mode, it was time to dig out the sun-scorched (dead!) summer plants and freshen up the courtyard.
There are some supposedly hardy purple bushes...
New chives in various pots, including Marigold the Snail...
A spot of colour...
And some basil and parsley...
